Here are a few things you'll need before you start creating your blog:
You'll need a domain name if you don't already have one.

Once you get your domain name (or a few, b/c if you get more than 6 you'll get free Privacy for a year...and Privacy is important) then you'll need to host your website blog somewhere.
GoDaddy may allow you to host your website/blog on their servers for free, but you'll be limited to how much storage space you'll have available for files (pics, vids, etc). Depending on how big you want your blog to be -- how many photos/video clips you want to include in your posts -- you may want to purchase a hosting account so you'll have virtually unlimited storage space.

You'll want to use a professionally made theme design for your blog. You don't want to use a free theme b/c they all look "free" and you don't want your readers thinking your blog is generic.
